To provide proactive preventative health care to every patient to ward off health problems
The root of Divine Medical Clinic and healthcare can be traced back to the vision and heart of our dynamic founder, Dr. Emy Oduro a.k.a (Dr. O) in 2017 while she was trying to reach out to the underserved communities in the greater Los Angeles county and the San Bernardino County by providing free seminars and health education solely. Dr. Oduro decided to extend the clinic to more community-driven than a for-profit model with the strategic plan for community-based programs.
Our clinic is required to develop a community needs assessment, and we reference that assessment in our strategic plan. We have a whole section in that strategic plan centered on health prevention and health education. This is to develop partnerships with other community entities—schools, businesses, and the taxing-district communities. We work together to address needs that have been identified in the patient’s assessment.
